But, as with any camera, a person can take great or poor photos. The Art of Pet Photography
Capturing the heart and soul of our furry friends goes beyond just knowing how to push the shutter button. Learn to capture your pet’s emotions, feelings and soul. We will teach you techniques for creating powerful formal portraits as well as fun and silly ones that show your pet’s unique personality. DSLR or Mirrorless camera recommended, but a smartphone will work well also. Participants may bring their well-behaved, friendly pet upon approval from the instructor prior to class.

Introduction To Flash Photography!
Are you tired of your family portraits looking like mug shots? Do the people you shoot look like they are frozen deer in front of your headlights? In this workshop we will give you a crash course on the basics of small flash photography (speed lights) and the gear you need to make stunning images. The class will consist of some lectures, but primarily demonstrations and hands-on labs. You will learn how to effectively use a single inexpensive flash to more complex multi-flash setups. Mastering flash will allow you to create amazing “WOW!” photographs in any lighting situation. If you can open your mind and believe in something that happens so fast that you cannot even see it, magic will happen before your lens!
